Michaela Essam-Agbesi, BSc, MSN, is a dedicated Adult Acute Care NP with extensive background in acute/critical patient care. She has 7+ years of professional experience in acute/critical care nursing. She earned her Master’s degree in Nursing at the University of Massachusetts, Worcester, MA and her undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the KNUST, Kumis, Ghana. She currently works as Hospitalist NP at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA and Acute care NP with IPC Hospitalist of New England.

Ms Essam-Agbesi is committed to providing patient-focused primary care to acutely/critically ill adults. She is highly proficient in assessing and monitoring patient care and committed to serving as a liaison between the facility, patients and family members. Her superior oral and written communications skills enable effective collaboration between interdisciplinary team, providers and other health care professionals.

She is certified to perform emergency medical procedures, such as basic cardiac life support (BLS), and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS).
She is an active member of the Church of Pentecost in Worcester, Massachusetts, and with her husband they are raising three wonderful children.
